How to remove a cyberlink registration pop-up

Updated February 21, 2017

Cyberlink produces software for Blu-ray and DVD players, DVD-burning software and video-editing programs. You can download these programs to your computer, after which you will receive a pop-up asking you to register. If you decide not to register, you will receive random Cyberlink pop-ups reminding you to enter your personal information. You can remove the pop-ups without disabling the program.

Close the Cyberlink Registration pop-up and shut down the program.

Go to "Start" > "Computer" > "C drive".

Click on "Program Files" > "Cyberlink" > "PowerDVD" > "OLRSubmission".

Right-click on the "OLRSubmission" folder and choose "Rename".

Type "Submission" in the box and press "Enter" to set the name. This will disable the pop-up.

Rename the folder to "OLRSubmission" if you decide to register the product later.
