Foxy Proxy is an extension available only for the Firefox browser. This add on allows the user to hide their IP address by assigning a proxy server to the browser. Foxy Proxy is a fully automated plugin that will switch an Internet connection across one or more proxy server based on the user's browsing patterns. To use the program, the user will need to have the Firefox browser download. The plugin will also need to be downloaded and configured to use the service.

Install Firefox. Firefox is free to download from the official Mozilla website.
Install FoxyProxy. The plugin is avalible in the "Addons" section of the Mozilla Firefox website.
Click on the FoxyProxy icon, located on the bottom-right corner of Firefox. This will open the "options" menu.
Click the "Add New Proxy" button.
Click on the "Proxy Details" button and select "Manual Proxy Configuration". Input the IP address and the port of the proxy server. This information may be found in a message sent to your e-mail address.
Click the "OK" button twice.
Select "Use Proxy" and "New Proxy"" in the "Mode" drop-down box.
Tips and warnings
- Do not select "SOCKS proxy".
- To turn off the proxy, right-click on the Foxy Proxy icon and select "Completely Disable FoxyProxy".
