When you turn on an Asus laptop's Bluetooth function, you allow cell phones, headsets and any other Bluetooth device to be synced with or found on the laptop. You can use Bluetooth on a laptop to listen to music on a headset or to sync and transfer files from the computer to the device. If the Asus laptop has Bluetooth wireless technology preinstalled, you can enable Bluetooth access by changing the settings in the control panel.
Click the “Start” menu and open “Control Panel.”
Select “Hardware and Sound” and “Bluetooth Devices.” If the “Bluetooth Devices” option doesn't appear, your laptop does not have Bluetooth capability.
Open “Bluetooth Settings.”
Click the “Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer” checkbox in the “Options” tab.
Click “Apply” to save your settings. Click “OK” to close the window.
