Open your Web browser and navigate to a web page that offers PS1 emulation software for Mac computers. Mac PCSX is one such program that works for Mac users. Click the "Download" link to download the program. Make sure to take note of where the file is being downloaded on you computer.
Double-click on the file you downloaded to begin the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. Double-click on the installed program to run it.
Insert the PlayStation disc that you wish to play into the CD or DVD drive of your Mac computer. If prompted with a "Disc Cannot Be Read" warning, press the "OK" button.
Click on the "File" section of the application menu and select the "Run CD" option. Your PS1 game now opens in a virtual window on your Mac computer.
