How do I Connect a LG Flatron Plasma TV to an Aerial?

Updated February 21, 2017

An LG Flatron plasma TV can be connected to an aerial antenna using a coaxial cable. A coaxial cable hooks up to the RF jack on the back of the LG set and connects in seconds. Standard safety precautions include unplugging the TV from the electrical socket whenever connecting or disconnecting other cables.

Disconnect the plasma TV from the power.

Connect the coaxial cable from the RF output jack on the aerial base to the RF in jack on the back panel of the LG Flatron. Tighten the metal coupler on each end of the cable.

Plug in the electrical cord and turn on the TV.

Press the "Menu" button and use the down-arrow key on the LG remote control to reach "Auto Tune." Press "Enter" to program the television with the channels that can be picked up by the aerial.
