The Panasonic SA-XR15 is a digital audio/video receiver used to accept audio and video signals from outside equipment (such as televisions and DVD players), then send the signal to connected speakers and other external equipment. However, if the Panasonic SA-XR15 is not working properly, you need to troubleshoot the situation.

Look over the cable connections running from the external audio equipment to your Panasonic SA-XR15. Make sure the cable is completely inserted into both devices. If it isn't, the audio and video signals are not going to reach the Panasonic device.
Look over the speaker connections. These wires are hard-wired into the speaker, so the only connection port problem that may occur is directly on the Panasonic SA-XR15.
Check the colour of the connection cable running into the Panasonic SA-XR15. If the colour of the cable is not the same colour of the connection port, you have the equipment wrongly connected and the Panasonic SA-XR15 is not going to accept either the audio or video signal.
Power on the Panasonic XR-15 and press the "Input" button on the device's remote control. Make sure to select the same audio/video connection you have the equipment connected to (such as "Composite," "Component" or "S-Video"). If the wrong input is selected, the audio and video from the connected equipment is not going to be selected and appear on the connected screen.
Look over the connection ports on the Panasonic SA-XR15. If the connection ports are dirty, the audio/video signal is not going to reach the receiver. Clean off the ports with a damp cloth, then allow the connections to dry before hooking up the hardware to the receiver.
