Waxed paper is waterproofed with wax or paraffin. Instead of placing your sandwich in a zipper-sealed bag, you can wrap it in waxed paper. Waxed paper allows the bread to breathe, and it will not trap excess moisture. This will prevent your sandwich from becoming soggy. Waxed paper will also keep your sandwich securely in place so that it does not fall apart.

  1. 1

Tear off a sheet of waxed paper twice as long as the sandwich.

  2. 2

Place the sandwich in the centre of the waxed paper.

  3. 3

Grab the two long sides of the waxed paper. Fold the sides over the sandwich and overlap the paper.

  4. 4

Grab the remaining sides of the waxed paper. Fold the sides into a triangle, and wrap them downward underneath the sandwich.

  5. 5

Tape the triangles in place to keep your sandwich from falling apart.
