How do I Charge a Fujifilm FinePix Z5 Via a Computer?

Updated February 21, 2017

The FinePix Z5 is a compact, lightweight, sleek digital camera manufactured by FujuFilm. The FinePix Z5 offers users a six megapixel shot with a 2-1/2-inch LCD for viewing and shooting. The FinePix Z5 is equipped with a rechargeable NP40 Lithium Ion battery and comes with a charger. If the charger is broken or lost, you can still charge your battery using the included USB cable that you'll connect to your computer.

Turn the computer on and allow it to boot completely.

Connect the USB cable to the Fujifilm FinePix Z5. The USB port is located on the right side of the camera.

Plug the opposite end of the USB cable into the computer USB port. Depending on your computer model, the port will either be on the front of the console or on the back near the bottom.

Notice the charging light is red, indicating the battery is being charged. Once the red light turns off, charging is complete and the USB cable can be removed from the camera.
