How to Reset a Belkin Range Extender

Updated July 19, 2017

The Belkin Wireless G Universal Range Extender relays the signals sent from your wireless network, the central connection point for your home network, thus improving its wireless range. A greater range for your wireless devices allows you to have stronger connections, faster downloads and uninterrupted streaming. The range extender is therefore ideal for busy home and office environments. Resetting your range extender will restore its factory settings, correcting many problems you may be experiencing.

Leave your range extender powered on.

Find the circular button marked "Reset" on the back of your router.

Use a pin or paper clip and press the "Reset" button.

Hold the "Reset" button down for 10 seconds.

Release the button.

Wait for one minute for your range extender to fully reboot and restore the factory settings.
