Astracast is a manufacturer of kitchen sinks and other accessories used in the home. Materials include, but are not limited to, acrylic, ceramic, stainless steel and granite. The acrylic sinks are typically resistant to scratching and chipping. If at some point a chip should occur for any reason, you can easily repair the damage yourself.

Clean the sink before repairing the damage. Simply rinse the sink with warm water and wipe it down with a soft cloth.

Use an epoxy adhesive such as Nick Fix to fill in the chipped area. The epoxy will act as a filler and glaze in one. Use the provided applicator attached to the top of the bottle; or, use the paintbrush and toothpick for finer cracks near the chipped spot.

Allow the adhesive to dry for 24 hours. Paint over it with an appliance paint that matches the colour of the sink.

Let the paint dry for 24 hours.
