Fellowes shredders need oiling periodically. Cross-cut shredders need monthly oiling. Paper jamming; the shredder shredding less than its capacity; and squeaking or rubbing noises can indicate that a shredder’s cutting blades need oiling. Fellowes sells specific shredder oil for its products, but you can also use corn or canola. Fellowes oil comes in a small bottle with a nozzle tip.
