There is no easy or quick method to gain facial hair or speed up the growth of facial hair. There are, however, general steps you can take on a daily basis to not only improve one's facial hair growth process, but also keep the facial hair and surrounding skin healthy.

Instructions

  1. 1

Clean your face on a daily basis, and use a moisturiser and exfoliating cream. Cleansing the skin around your facial hair area will remove dead skin cells and keep hair follicles clean. Keeping the skin clean will also limit the amount of ingrown hairs, and moisturising the skin will keep it healthy and more productive when it comes to hair growth.

  2. 2

Use a mild shampoo, such as baby shampoo, to wash your beard or moustache once a week. This will help nourish the facial hair, cleanse it in a mild manner and help stimulate the fair follicles. Baby shampoo is gentle and soft and will help you to avoid skin rashes or irritation.

  3. 3

Trim the ends of the grown facial hair at least once a week. When damage occurs to the facial hair, the hair could split and break. This inhibits active and healthy facial hair growth, so trimming the ends can actually promote healthy and continuous facial hair growth.

  4. 4

Eat healthy meals and exercise regularly. Living a healthy lifestyle and ensuring that one is not vitamin or mineral deficient can be beneficial to facial hair growth. Vitamin B6 and B12 are particularly good for hair growth if taken as recommended by a doctor. One can also get these vitamins through a balanced diet.

  5. 5

Get enough sleep every night. Ensure that the body gets the rest it needs, as the body repairs, restores and replenishes the body while it sleeps--this includes hair growth. Facial hair growth may slow down if the body does not get an adequate amount of sleep.

  6. 6

Complete relaxing exercises during the work week or on a daily basis. When stress inhabits the body, the body's internal systems such as growth, digestion and energy is slowed down, including facial hair growth. Use different methods to relax during the day such as yoga, walking or deep-breathing exercises.
