MODD files are a speciality format of video file designed to handle high-definition video files in a compact, portable manner. The files are commonly used in HD camcorders by companies such as Sony, JVC and Panasonic. If your Sony camcorder stores files in MODD form, these can be viewed using Sony's Picture Motion Browser software. The files will be most easily accessible if you upgrade to the latest version of the software before opening.
