You can easily add some bling to your cell phone by gluing rhinestones to it. Rhinestones are inexpensive and can be purchased at any arts and crafts store; they come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. If you are going to decorate your cell phone with rhinestones, Rhinestone Guy, Inc. recommends gluing them only to the outside of a flip or slider phone; if you glue them on the inside, the phone will not close all the way.

  1. 1

Pour a pin-size amount of embellishing glue onto the back of a rhinestone. Rhinestone Guy, Inc. recommends using this type of glue as it is made to adhere rhinestones and other gems to flat surfaces; it can be purchased at arts and crafts stores.

  2. 2

Place the rhinestone on the surface of the cell phone and apply medium pressure to the rhinestone with your fingertip for a couple of seconds or until the rhinestone sticks to the surface of the cell phone.

  3. 3

Wipe extra glue away using the tip of a cotton swab.

Tips and warnings

  • If you are interested in creating a design on your cell phone, lay out the rhinestones before you attempt to glue them onto your phone.
