How to Recover Deleted MySpace Files

Updated April 17, 2017

MySpace is a social networking site that allows you to post pictures, videos, music, even documents and files. MySpace should not be used as the primary backup for such files. But when your computer crashes, or files are lost, it can be a great way to recover lost items, even when it appears that they are missing from MySpace as well. Recover files lost on MySpace with File2HD, a free website downloading service.

Go to MySpace.com Find the page on which the lost file once resided and copy its URL, or web address, to the clipboard.

Go to File2HD.com, the free website download service.

Paste the URL copied from MySpace.com into the "URL:" box on File2HD.com's home page.

Underneath the "URL:" box, select the type of file that you are looking for. File2HD can find everything from images and videos, to stylesheets and online applications.

Click "Get Files" next to the "URL:" box and File2HD.com will display all the files of the type you specified that are connected to the MySpace page you provided. Search through the results to find the file you are looking for. Right-click and click "Save as..." for the file to save it to your desktop.

Tip

File2HD.com can only find files that are currently connected to the page you specify and that still reside on MySpace servers. If the file has been deleted by the MySpace staff, it may not be recoverable.
