Mercedes-Benz cars have a service indicator light that will come on to tell you when it's time for an oil change. When the light comes on, you're supposed to take your vehicle in to a licensed dealer to get the oil changed, and they will reset the light for you. If you don't want to go to a dealership because you want to go some place cheaper or change your own oil, you may need to reset the light yourself. With a few simple steps you can manually reset your service indicator light.
