Create a wedding cake topper from LEGOs for a creative, unusual option. Most basic LEGO kits come with all the necessary parts. If the bride and groom enjoy something that LEGO has made a product of, use people from that. Some examples are Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and pirates. The LEGO cake topped appeals to children, which can help children of a blended family feel more comfortable. Most of the cake toppers show a bride and groom, birds or a bride and groom in a pose.

  1. 1

Submerge the LEGOs in hot, soapy water. LEGOs tend to trap dirt, so it's best to use a new set. The new set still needs washed to kill germs.

  2. 2

Wash your hands and remove the LEGOs. Allow them to dry for about 24 hours on a clean surface.

  3. 3

Use a large, flat piece as the base of the cake topper.

  4. 4

Attach two Lego people. They can face each other, holding hands, or stand next to each other. Add a table or chairs, if desired.

  5. 5

Use the square Legos to build four posts. The posts should be about two to four inches tall. Attach each post to a corner of the base piece.

  6. 6

Use a thin flat piece the same size as the bottom to make a roof. Put slanted roof pieces at the edge. Put the roof on top of the posts.

  7. 7

If the Lego piece is meant to last, brush a light coat of watered down white glue over the entire piece.
