Dell Dimension computers have a built-in PC restore system that allows you to quickly restore the PC to its original factory settings. The PC restore is located in a hidden partition of the PC's hard drive and contains a copy of the computer's original factory installed software. Tips and warnings

  • Backup any data or files that you don't want to lose before doing a system restore. A system restore will erase everything that you have downloaded onto your computer including music files, photographs, videos, e-mails and favourite URLs. Copy backup files onto a disc or memory stick.
