Most bratwurst you buy will already be steam cooked or boiled, so all you need to do it open the pack and fry the sausages in a little oil until they are browned.
Meanwhile, heat some oil in a separate pan, add the onion and fry until well softened.
Add the ketchup, the paprika, the curry powder and a splash of water. The water should help bring all the ingredients together as you stir.
Continue to heat and stir until the extra water has boiled off and the sauce has thickened back to the consistency of ketchup.
Take the browned bratwurst and chop into pieces. Pour as much or as little of the sauce over the top as you want and serve with chips or bread.
