The jewellery trends for Indian men today aren't necessarily in sync with the typical U.S. or Asian rappers and Indi-pop scene. The Lifestyle Lounge of the iLoveIndia.com site, says that the trend in 2010 is a bit more on the classy side.

Finger Rings

Rings have adorned Indian men for centuries. Wedding rings are a part of the Indian culture. Because astrology is part of the religious culture of India, many men wear rings that are studded with precious and semi-precious stones that reflect their astrological signs, or that are personally recommended by their astrologer.

Earing studs

Many Indian men enjoy wearing earring studs. Diamond-studded earrings are common, as are studs in gold or silver. Many Indian men wear studs in one ear, while some of the more hip wear them in both ears.

Necklaces were not always worn by Indian men. Now, times have changed. The proliferation of Bollywood has brought with it a certain amount of an upwardly-mobile cultural influence, some Indian businessmen have flourishing businesses and Indian professionals exist in every part of the world. Necklaces and bracelets for Indian men is a common part of an elegant attitude. Men's necklaces and bracelets in 22 carat gold is commonly worn by upscale Indian men. Many of the men's necklaces are woven in decorative and woven patterns.
