Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival
The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival is held in Winchester, Virginia near the end of April. In 2011, the event will mark its 84th anniversary. The festival includes a parade, carnival, 5K run, beauty pageant and a golf tournament.
Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival
The Sebastopol Apple Blossom Festival is held in the middle of April in Sebastopol, California, a town about 50 miles north of San Francisco. The 65th anniversary of the festival will be celebrated in 2011 with a parade, art reception and festival.
Oaklawn Apple Blossom Festival
The Oaklawn Apple Blossom Festival celebrates not only the start of spring, but also Arkansas' state flower. Held in Mount Ida, Arkansas at the beginning of April, the event includes a horse race and parade.
