Side Effects of Phyto Shape

Phyto Shape is a diet pill manufactured in Malaysia by Etumax Corporation. According to, Phyto Shape was originally introduced in the United States in 2000, but has since been banned due to health risks.


Etumax claims that Phyto Shape contains natural ingredients that can help you lose weight without any harmful side effects.

Harmful Ingredients

According to the Injury Help Network, Phyto Shape contains unnatural ingredients, which were found during the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) analysis of the diet pill. Phenolphthalein is a suspected cancer-causing ingredient; sibutramine and rimonabant are illegal substances in the United States; and phenytoin is an ingredient found in seizure medications.


According to, Phyto Shape has been linked to seizures, increased blood pressure, headaches, breathing difficulties and blurry vision.


Health concerns prompted the FDA to pull Phyto Shape off of the U.S. market in December 2008, according to the Injury Help Network.
