Claims

Etumax claims that Phyto Shape contains natural ingredients that can help you lose weight without any harmful side effects.

Harmful Ingredients

According to the Injury Help Network, Phyto Shape contains unnatural ingredients, which were found during the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) analysis of the diet pill. Phenolphthalein is a suspected cancer-causing ingredient; sibutramine and rimonabant are illegal substances in the United States; and phenytoin is an ingredient found in seizure medications.

Symptoms

According to dietchoices.com, Phyto Shape has been linked to seizures, increased blood pressure, headaches, breathing difficulties and blurry vision.

Ban

Health concerns prompted the FDA to pull Phyto Shape off of the U.S. market in December 2008, according to the Injury Help Network.

Prevention/Solution

Although Phyto Shape is not available for sale in the U.S., it can still be purchased online, according to dietchoices.com. Consult with your health care provider before taking Phyto Shape, due to its potential health risks.
