How to Remove Sticky Residue

Video transcription

Hi. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to remove sticky residue. When you get something with a price tag on it, sometimes you're lucky and the price tag peels right off. Sometimes you pull the price tag off and you're left with this sticky residue, with a little bit of paper stuck to it. And, especially on something glass, it really takes away from the beauty of the glass, or, you know, if you're giving someone a gift you don't want to give 'em something with sticky residue on it. So what I do is, get some rubbing alcohol. Apply it to a paper towel or napkin. You want to use a generous amount, you know, soak the corner of the paper towel or the napkin really well, 'cause you want to douse the sticky area with the rubbing alcohol. Then let it sit and dry. It would, you know, alcohol dries really quickly, so after it's dried you just want to scratch it off with your fingernail. I am Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you remove sticky residue.
