Fabric sofas can be easily cleaned with a few simple tools. Learn just what the upholstery attachment on your vacuum cleaner is really for with help from an expert cleaner in this free video.
Hi, I'm Mark Newman-Kuzel. I'm President/CEO of "Maid in the U.S.A." and today I'm going to teach you how to clean a fabric sofa. You're going to need your vacuum with an upholstery attachment and that's about it. So first step here, I'm going to move my decorative but yet comfortable pillows, grab my vacuum, put my upholstery attachment on it, turn the vacuum on and I'm just going to vacuum very softly with my brush and this is great because it gets rid of pet dander, any flea eggs, hair. I'm going to lift this up to get underneath there real good. A lot of people forget to do this. You definitely need to vacuum these pillows as well, both sides. Get those really good because there's a lot of dust that builds up in those and there's a lot of dust here in Los Angeles, back and forth, back and forth. Turn my vacuum off, just put this hose over here, my pillows and that's how you clean a fabric sofa. Mark Newman-Kuzel of "Maid in the U.S.A.".
