False eyelashes create a rich, striking look, but getting the glue off sometimes presents a problem. Learn the fastest ways to remove stubborn eyelash glue in this free video from a professional aesthetician.
Hi, my name is Beth Ann Warren. I'm a Licensed aesthetician and makeup artist in Los Angeles, California, and today I'm going to show you how to get glue off of eyelashes. If you are wearing false eyelashes and you've just removed them, you are definitely going to have some residual glue. And if you want to wear them again, it's really important to get as much of the glue off as you possibly can so that they are nice and fresh for your next application. The materials that you will need are: the soiled lashes, a bowl of soapy warm water, a bottle of 99 percent alcohol and a Q-tip. So now, I'm going to show you exactly how to do this. The first step would be to take your lashes, take one out, spray it with some 99 percent alcohol. That will kill a lot of the bacteria that's on there. Then what I like to do is set it down, just take a Q-tip, run it over the lashes, this will also help to loosen up a little bit of the glue. The next thing that I'm going to do is I'm going to put it in a bowl of soapy warm water, and I'm going to let that sit for about five to ten minutes. When that five to ten minutes is passed, take the lash out and pat it dry and you'll see that the glue is nice and loosened up now and you'll actually be able to just peel off little pieces of the glue that were stuck to the lash. And again, you want to get off as much as possible so that they are nice and fresh for your next use. When the lash is nice and clean, you're going to just pat it dry. You're going to put it back in the container, just very gently and then you're going to let it sit and it's going to be ready for your next use. Again, my name is Beth Ann Warren. Thank you very much for watching my video today on how to get glue off eyelashes.
