Hi I'm Daniel Robb, hairstylist from Los Angeles, California, and today I am going to show you how to do twists with natural hair. You'll need a hairbrush, hairpins, bobby pins, and hairspray. There are many ways to do a twist in your hair. I'm going to show you one way that is as easy as one, two, three. You want to start by grabbing your hair back in a pony tail. Twist the hair either to the right or left. You want to bring the hair that you've twisted up to the top of the head. Grab the pony tail end, bring it around and this part that you have in your hand you want to bring it over that little pony tail part. And at this point, you have your twist. So, you want to take your bobby pins and start pinning. This is very easy and fun and casual. It has a great natural messy look. You'll need about 15 to 20 bobby pins for this, depending on the thickness and length of hair. Make sure when you are pinning the twist, you want to pin underneath and all around your twist area, or this bun area if you will. Anchor all around the twist with your bobby pins. At this point, you want to move onto your using your hairpins. This will help finish off the style and secure your twist. And then finally, you want to take your hairspray and spray your twist and the surrounding areas to help secure your style and tame any fly-aways that you have. And there you have your finished twist. I'm Daniel Robb, and thank you for watching my video about how to do a twist with natural hair.
