Hi, I'm Magician Paul Weatherbee and in this tutorial, I'm going to be talking to you about the retention coin vanish magic trick. For this, you will need a coin. First, I'm going to show you the retention vanish, then, I'll tell you how it's done. The visual retention coin vanish looks a little something like this. You have a coin, hold it with your two fingertips, put it in one hand and it's gone. One more time; now the coin, put it in your hand, it's gone, just like that. This is the secret. You hold the coin at the fingertips of your first and second finger of one hand and pinch it with your thumb. As you act like you're putting the coin into your hand, make a motion with your middle finger, kind of like snapping your fingers and that rolls the coin back into your right hand. Now, as with all coin vanishes, practice actually taking the coin and putting it into your left hand. Look in the mirror and watch the fluid motion of your hand as you actually put the coin into your hand. Now, when you're ready to do the move, it will look just like that. One more time. Beautiful, isn't it? This is what it looks from behind. You're holding the coins or the coin like this. As you go to put it in your hand, make a snapping motion that brings the coin back at the back of your hand, like that and of course, they can't see it from the far. That is the visual retention coin vanish magic trick. Practice it well. Have fun with it. Check out weatherbeemagic.com. I'm Paul Weatherbee, rock on and keep your magic strong.
