Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg from Miami Dog Training. In this clip we're going to talk about how to keep your dog from tearing up the lawn. One of the first things you want to do is give the dog exercise, a lot of exercise. And that's going to help cure a lot of the problems that you might be having. Behavioral or otherwise that are occurring from boredom. So giving the dog also something constructive to do with their energy is going to curve those kind of behaviors. Now if you notice this is an area where sometimes the dogs will dig, and one of the solutions that we can use is to put their own feces in the hole that they've been digging. And they're going to start avoiding that hole. Now they may dig another hole, you're going to have to do the same thing. Because again, unless you're giving them a lot of exercise, the boredom will kick in, and they're going to start to want to do something with that energy. So exercise, discipline and affection is going to help you cure a lot of the problems you might be having with your dogs. This is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg, and this has been how to stop your dog from digging up the lawn.
