Hi, I'm Tim Gipson and I'm going to talk to you about a home remedy for removing rust from tools. Now we can have a - what's very common for little bits, screwdriver bits or apex bits or specialty bits that you run in your drill or drill driver, can over a period of time can get some rust on the surface, our tools can get rust on them such as this saw. Just moisture working on the surface over a period of time. Now it's very easy to remove this rust from these tools, and all you need is some stuff that you'll - you should usually have around the house. So you need some baking soda and some lemon juice or if you don't have any lemon juice you can use vinegar. And what we're going to do is we're going to take a little tub, we're going to put some baking soda in there, we're going to add just enough of the lemon juice or the vinegar to create a paste. So you can see here, I've got - I've mixed this up where it's just in a paste type of consistency. And then what we can do is if we have these smaller parts, we can actually just put the smaller parts right down into our paste mixture or if we have some larger things such as this saw, then we can just spread it around the surface and you just want to let that paste mixture coat the surface of whatever you're trying to remove the rust, and we want to let this set for several minutes and it will actually work down and it actually dissolves and breaks down that rust. And once we let that sit for a little while we can come back with a paper towel and just wipe it down. You can see it very easily breaks down and removes that rust from any surface.
