There's many types of antique chairs out there, but if you're looking for that special one, I'm Blake Kennedy at Patty and Friends Antique Mall in St. Petersburg, Florida. Antique chairs, depending on what you're looking for, whether it's an upholstered chair, a dining room chair, make sure you, make sure that you know exactly what type of chair you want and what exactly you're going to be using it for. Are you going to be using antique chairs around the dining room table to to bring the whole family around for the holidays? Or are you looking for just a nice antique chair to put inside the family room? So, you want to ask around to make sure the dining room chairs are going to be well built, well sturdy 'cause an antique chair, it's been around for a long time. You want to see if it's been reconditioned, and it's okay if it's been reconditioned especially if you're going to be using that chair quite a bit, if it's giving you that look. If you're looking for a nice chair to put inside the living room, look and see if it's been reupholstered. It's okay to change the upholstery on a good antique chair. You're not going to devalue the antique by having it reupholstered. You're gonna, you're making it to where it suits your taste. It makes your home look lived in but you want to make sure if you want to get the springs redone and then see what kind of cushion's been made out of. But before you go out shopping for those antique chairs, you know, hit all the antique shops and thee antique malls and make sure it's good to buy 'em in pairs. Make sure that you're really buying what you want. Don't be afraid of ugly fabric, or ugly upholstery if that's the look that you're looking for because it's worth every penny to have that antique chair reupholstered. Happy hunting on those chairs. I'm Blake Kennedy.
