What we are going to be doing now is a petrissage. It is like I am using the palms of my hand and I am squeezing. I am not using my fingers. So using our hands it is like we are going to be kneading dough. So using that and on my feet I am going to be doing the same motion. Okay. So I am pushing with my body and kneading and pushing in with my body and kneading with the palm of my hand and making this in a continuing motion and using my feet to push me in. I am not using my arms, not using my shoulders and I just kneading. My fingers are relatively free. I can do this lunging forward or I can do this looking at the actual body part. But I don’t want to be too far on top, I don’t want to be too far away. If I am on top, it is not going to be doing much use because I am using my shoulder. I don’t want to be too far away because I am using my lower back so I want to be close enough to the table where I can get in a good solid knead and I can knead on the bottom of the leg as well. We can knead all over the arm; we can do this on the back. This is called Petrissage.
