Prospective students in the field of surveying can find bachelor's degrees, certificates or short courses through certain colleges for distance learning. Available short courses cover a wide range of subjects and are designed to suit the professional needs of a qualified surveyor or surveying organisation. Both land- and marine-specific surveying programs are available for distance learning. Courses are taught using CDs, DVDs, video or audio streaming and home coursework.
