You can enjoy banana chips on their own, or with oatmeal, yoghurt, pudding or other snacks for a satisfying crunch and extra flavour. Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel the bananas.

  2. 2

Slice the bananas into chips. Cut them as thin as possible for faster freeze drying.

  3. 3

Place the banana slices onto a baking tray. Arrange them in a single layer. Limit the banana slices' exposure to air to prevent them from browning.

  4. 4

Stick the baking tray in the freezer.

  5. 5

Freeze-dry the banana chips for about a week, before removing them from the freezer and letting them thaw. The banana slices will have dried completely and have become delicious banana chips.
