An easy way to create a curved arrow is through word processing software, such as Microsoft Word, which has multiple shapes that can be inserted into a document. A curved arrow can be used in charts, presentations or other projects --- a curved arrow is often more useful to help illustrate a point than a straight arrow.

Things you need
- Microsoft Word
Open Microsoft Word. Word processing software such as Pages or Word Perfect will work also.
Click "Insert" on the top toolbar, and then select "Shapes."
Scroll through the shapes until you find the curved arrows. You will find many types of curved arrows pointing in different directions. Double-click on the arrow you want to use or click and drag the arrow into your document, depending on the version of Word you are using.
After the arrow is in your document you can change its size by dragging the arrow's editing square, which has dots around it, in or out. If you need to use the arrow in a different program, try cutting and pasting the arrow into the other program.
