Candy pearl paint powder is manufactured by Paint With Pearl. The company sells a variety of innovative products, such as metal flaked paints, chameleon paints and candy pearl paints, which give your vehicle a brilliant, shiny coating. Use candy pearl paint powder for several purposes, such as a base coat for a custom car, to tint another existing colour or to mix with other paints for a completely custom colour.

Instructions

  1. 1

Measure your reducer by pouring it into a plastic measuring cup. Read the label on the reducer and follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing.

  2. 2

Add the entire package of candy pearl paint powder to the measuring cup and stir the mixture thoroughly with a wooden paint stick.

  3. 3

Measure the clear base coat and add it to the paint mixture. To measure the base coat, use another plastic measuring cup and pour the base coat into the cup. The amount of base coat you add depends on the ratio listed on your reducer. For example, if your reducer requires a 50-50 ratio of reducer to base coat add equal amounts of each product.

  4. 4

Stir the base coat into the candy pearl mixture using a wooden paint stick until it is thin enough to go through your paint sprayer.
