The audio input port on your MacBook Pro 13-inch laptop is used to input audio into the computer for recording or voice commands. If you have an external microphone, you can use it with your MacBook Pro. Once the microphone has been plugged into the port, you must turn the input on through the System Preferences. You don't have to be a Mac technician to use the audio port. You can do it with just a few clicks of the mouse.
