How to automatically forward my messages to another email account in lotus notes

Updated April 17, 2017

Lotus Notes is an e-mail, calendar, contacts and organiser program used by some organisations as an alternative to the more widely used Microsoft Outlook suite. Lotus Notes is easy to use, and setting up mail forwarding is a straightforward process that takes only a few minutes. To forward e-mails from a Lotus Notes e-mail account to another Lotus Notes e-mail address, set up a new rule in the Mail Rules folder.

Open Lotus Notes on your PC by double-clicking the "Lotus Notes" icon on the main desktop screen.

Click "Tools" in the "File" menu and then select "Rules" to open the Mail Rules folder.

Click on "New Rule" in the folder window to bring up the Rules dialogue box.

Select "All Documents" under the Create Condition heading in the dialogue box. Click the "Add" button. Select "When All Mail Arrives" to ensure that all e-mails get forwarded.

Click "Specify Actions" and select "Send Copy To" from the drop-down menu. In the dialogue box, enter the email address or addresses that you want to receive the forwarded messages. You can enter the full e-mail address or select names from the Lotus Notes Address Book. Click "Full" in the field next to each e-mail entry.

Click "Finish" to end the process. Click "OK" to save the settings.
