The days of scrubbing a floor on your hands and knees are over. Keeping your floor clean no longer requires the stamina and strength of days past. And electric floor scrubber allows you to aggressively rid yourself of months or years worth of caked on dirt and grime with very minimal physical exertion. A home scrubber works similar to a vacuum cleaner: you simply walk behind it pushing it slightly while it does all the work. Unlike mopping, you never reuse dirty water the way you do when you dip a mop into a bucket.

Things you need
- Floor cleanser detergent
Install the appropriate brush into the bottom of your floor scrubber, depending on your floor and the type of job you need to do. For example, if you have marble floors, a softer cloth pad or sponge attachment is appropriate. If you have linoleum floors, a tough bristled brush is more suitable. Snap your brush into the bottom of your machine.
Open the recovery tank. This is where the dirty water and debris goes. Verify that it's empty, and empty it if it's not.
Open the solution compartment. Fill it with the recommended floor cleanser and snap it closed.
Plug in the machine and move it to the far corner of the room. Switch it on. Work it evenly across the floor, stepping backwards from right to left, until the floor scrubber has covered the entire surface area of the floor. Empty the recovery tank when finished.
