How to Unlock BIOS for the Incycle H2O

Updated April 17, 2017

Insyde H2O is a 32-bit third-party BIOS replicator. A computer programmer can use it to unlock BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) on a desktop or laptop computer. BIOS controls how a computer starts up. To unlock it for editing, start the computer with the Insyde H20 program. By starting the computer with the Insyde H20 disc, it can access the dormant BIOS settings on the hard drive.

Turn on the computer. Insert the Insyde H2O CD and click "Install" in the window that pops up. This installs the framework that will allow the disc to access the hard drive.

Reboot the computer with the disc still inside.

Press any key when prompted.

Hit the "F3" key to unlock BIOS. The mouse will not work when running the computer off the CD, so everything will be done with the keyboard. BIOS is unlocked, its now possible to edit codes.

Hit "F12" when finished.

Hit "F1" to restart.

Remove the Insyde H2O CD when prompted, then press "ENTER". The computer will restart normally under the newly installed BIOS settings.
