Christian bracelets are wonderful reminders of God, Jesus and the sacrifices made for each person and your faith. This bracelet may look like a simple cord with coloured beads, but it can mean so much more. Each bead on the bracelet represents a religious symbol. Some people make Christian bracelets to wear, others make them to give away. When the Christian bracelet is given away, a card usually accompanies it to explain what each colour stands for in the Christian religion.

Things you need

- Red bead
- White bead
- Green bead
- Clear bead

Cut a piece of leather or hemp 15 inches in length. Leather lasts longer than hemp but if you are on a budget, then hemp is a nice alternative.
Fold the cord in half and then measure about 3/4 of an inch from the centre. This is where you will tie a knot in the cord. The knot will hold the beads in place. The knot is significant because it reminds us that God made us and He loves us. It is up to us to choose God.
Add one black bead. Pony beads are usually used to make these bracelets because they have a big hole to push the leather end through. The black bead represents sin, because sin has taken away everything good and sin separates us from God.
Push on a red bead. As the red bead is added, it signifies the blood that Jesus shed for us on the cross. He did this to pay for our sins.
Thread on a white bead. The white bead reminds us that even though we sin, the blood of Jesus makes us brand new.
Put on a green bead. The green colour makes us think of things that grow. As we see the green bead's colour, it is to remind us that as we go through life, we should always strive to be more like Jesus.
Thread on a clear bead. This bead is void of any colour, but it is to remind us that even though we can't see God, He has given us the Holy Spirit to help us through the journey of life.
String on one blue bead. Blue is for the choices we make in life. We make choices every day and although some choices are not as big as others, there are some choices that once made can change the course of yours or someone else's destiny.
Thread on a yellow bead. This is the last bead, but it is one of promise. When we see the yellow bead, we are reminded that when Jesus died for us, He died so we could be joined with God forever.
Tie another knot at the end of the beads. Your bracelet is ready to tie around your wrist and wear.
