How to Recover an Acer 5610 Without a Disk

The Acer 5610 laptop computer is equipped with an eRecovery Management tool that provides system backup and recovery. To recover your Acer 5610 without a CD or DVD, you must first create a backup file and save it to your computer’s hard drive. Once created, the eRecovery Management tool can recover the system with the stored backup file.

    Press the “Alt” and “F2” keys from your Windows screen to initiate the eRecovery Management tool.

    Enter the recovery password at the prompt. If a password has not been created, the factory default password is 000000.

    Select the “Recovery Settings” option and click “Next” to continue.

    Choose “Backup Snapshop Image” and click “Next” to proceed.

    Select “Backup to HDD” to save the backup file to your hard drive.

    Follow the eRecovery Management window prompts to complete the backup file process.

    Input the recovery password when prompted. Enter 000000 as the password if a recovery password has not previously been set.

    Select the backup file you wish to restore from the menu options. Follow the eRecovery Management prompts to complete the recovery of your Acer 5610 backup file.
