The Rosetta Stone language program is designed to interact with the user so they can learn to speak a foreign language. The program requires installing language discs, which can be purchased from a computer or electronics store to provide training in the specific language the owner wants to learn. The procedure for installing a language disc onto a hard drive so it can be accessed by the Rosetta Stone program is slightly dissimilar depending upon whether you are using a Mac or PC. The only requirement is that the Rosetta Stone program already be installed on the hard drive.
