Remotely tracking the internet history of your home computer can let you know what the other members of your family are up to while you are at work or away. The Remote Desktop Connection tool in the operating system allows you to operate your home computer as though you were sitting in front of it. This can be done in minutes.

- IP address of the computer to be tracked
Open "Start" on the remote computer. Type "Remote Desktop Connection" into the "Search" box. Press "Enter."
Type in the IP address of the computer to be tracked and press "Connect."
Enter a user name and password (if prompted).
Click "Start," type "regedit" into the "Search" box, and press "Enter."
Navigate through the keys in the following order: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" > "Software" > "Microsoft" > "internet Explorer" > "Typed URLs." You will see a list of all URL addresses that have been visited on the computer being tracked.
