Every LG microwave has a light bulb on the interior, so the user can easily see the contents inside the microwave. The bulb is turned on when the microwave door is opened, as well as when the microwave is in use. You may need to replace the light bulb as it will burn out over time. Although the bulb is an internal component of the microwave, it does not need to be sent out for servicing to be replaced.

Disconnect the power to the microwave by unplugging it from the wall, or by turning off the circuit breaker.
