How to Use Bepanthen

Updated February 21, 2017

Bepanthen is a diaper rash cream. By using this regularly on your child, you can prevent painful irritations. This product can also treat diaper rash by keeping your child's skin moist and soothing the painful areas. It has no fragrances, colours or additives and has been safely used on premature babies and newborns.

Clean your child's bottom with a pre-moistened diaper wipe. Be sure that the entire area is cleaned of faeces and urine.

Squeeze a tiny amount of Bepanthen onto your finger.

Gently rub the cream in a thin layer on red, irritated areas. Repeat this at every diaper change until the redness clears up. This will treat existing diaper rash.

Rub a thin layer of Bepanthen all over your baby's bottom at every diaper change in order to prevent diaper rash from developing.
