Hi, I'm Mark Spector, your local handyman, and this is how to repair a gouge in a hardwood floor. Now, what you're going to want to do is you're going to want to get yourself some stainable wood putty, and what you'll do with that wood putty, very simple. Simply take your finger and you're going to take some of that putty and you're going to spread it inside that gouge. Then, you're going to let that set up to dry anywhere from two to eight hours. You're going to sand it down, and then you're going to stain it and put a nice finish on it. I'm Mark Spector, and this is how to repair a hardwood floor gouge.
