Hello, this is Coreen from Shakes Bakes, and right now we're going to talk about how we can fry an egg using a microwave. Some of the items we're going to need to achieve that are spray oil, I like to use Canola. Of course, we need our trusty egg. We need a microwave safe either pot or a little frying pan of some kind. We need a ventilated top. What I did was I actually took one of those grape bags that you purchase your grapes in, and it kind of drains off when it's in the produce section of the grocery store, and I split that in half. That's what's going to give me my ventilated top. You need a dish that you can put your egg on after you're done, and to help you get it out of the pot, if you need any help, here's a spoon and a knife. So, first things first, we are going to spray our pot, or if you have a pan of some kind, just please make sure it's microwave safe. Then, we're going to place our egg right into the pot, there you go. At this point, you want to put your ventilated top on, make sure it's laid down really well, and we're going to take this over to the microwave. So, what we're going to do is we're going to put it in our microwave, cook it for 30 seconds, then let it breathe, cook it for 15 seconds, let it breathe, and then cook it for 9 seconds and then let it breathe. After the first 30 seconds, we're going to spray so let's see how we do that. Egg is cooking, it's popping away, okay. So at this point we're going to let it breathe a little bit. We're going to spray, let it breathe, then put it back in. We're going to do 15 seconds now. Now, let it breathe, another nine seconds. Look at this, as you can see it looks like we have a nicely fried egg. What we're going to do is we're going to try and get this up and into our dish. Nice, wow, look at this, let's cut it open and see what we have here. Wow, looks really good. Here's your fried egg using a microwave.
