Cleveland, Tennessee may not be known for its skateboarding culture, but just like any other city in the United States, the sport is popular among elementary, middle and high school students. While Cleveland currently only has one skateboard park in town, there are other parks in nearby cities.

Tinsley Park in Cleveland, Tennessee

Tinsley Park is a park operated by the Parks and Recreation Authority of the City of Cleveland, Tennessee. In 2008, Cleveland schools outlawed skateboarding on school property. To alleviate skateboarding on private property, the City Council voted to build a skateboard park at one of its current recreation facilities. They chose Tinsley Park as its location.

North Georgia Skateboard Center

The North Georgia Skateboard Center is located in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, approximately 27 miles from Cleveland, Tennessee. The centre offers a skate shop and skate park. The park is available to the public for £3 a day.

Found Skate Park, Inc.

Found Skate Park, located in Ellijay, Georgia, is approximately 60 miles from Cleveland, Tennessee. The park is open to the public at £7 a day. There is also a Skatelife skateboard shop located inside the facility. The park is open Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m to 9 p.m.
