How to Reset My Dell Latitude D505 Laptop Back to Factory Condition
The Dell Latitude D505 is a personal laptop computer with a 1.2 GHz processor and a 15-inch display. The system is equipped with a System Restore utility that reverts the hard drive back to its factory-configured state.
Running the System Restore deletes any applications and data that have been installed by the user since the computer left the factory.
Turn on or restart the Dell D505 computer.
Press the "F8" key repeatedly as the system is starting up. Stop pressing the key when the "Advanced Boot Options" screen appears.
