How to Transfer Audiobooks to a Philips GoGear Vibe
Take your Audible audiobooks wherever you go with the Philips GoGear Vibe. The Philips media player supports playback for audiobooks formatted in ".AA" format, the common format for Audible content.
In order to prevent unauthorised trading, Audible has a licensing tool that requires you to register your Audible-compatible device with your Audible account. Once the media player is linked to your Audible account audiobooks can be transferred and played on your Philips GoGear Vibe.
Download the AudibleManager program from the Audible site and click "Run" to start the program download. The AudibleManager set-up wizard automatically starts once the download finishes.
Click the drop-down menu in the AudibleManager Setup window, and click "Philips GoGear Vibe" as your device.
Click "OK" in the set-up wizard to start the program installation. Download the Audible Download Manager and click "Run" to automatically run the installer wizard. Click "I Accept" and click the checkbox next to "AudibleManager" to select AudibleManager as the default media manager.
Click "OK" to proceed to the final set-up window and click "OK" to exit once the installation is complete. Click the Windows orb on the PC's desktop, click "All Programs," "Audible" and "Audible Download Manager."
Click "Options" in the top-left section of the Audible Download Manager, and click "Activate AudibleReady Device." Insert the USB cable into the PhilipsGoGear Vibe and into the computer's USB port. Click "Philips GoGear Vibe" and click "OK."
Click "Options" in the Audible Download Manager and click "Import Audible Titles." The download manager downloads your available audiobooks and imports them into AudibleManager.
Click the audiobook's title in AudibleManager, and click the "Add to Device" button in the top-right corner of the program. Click "Philips GoGear" in the drop-down menu, and wait for the program to transfer the audiobook to the media player.
Remove the cable from the GoGear Vibe once the transfer is complete.
